About me
My name is Frances Culshaw.

Quick Bio
1969: Born into a dairy farming family in Lancashire, NW England, the sixth of seven siblings.
1990: Graduated from Cardiff University with a BSc in Pharmacology and an ambition to forge a career in the field of psycho-pharmacology. Signed up for PhD at Manchester University.

But not far along the way, I stopped to sniff the air. Things didn’t smell right. It was the early 1990s, and this was my first whiff of the rot at the core of academia and the psycho-pharmaceutical industry. Many years later, I turned to cartooning in the guise of Auntie Psychiatry, the cartoon anteater.

About Pighooey
I bought the domain name “Pighooey” in 2014 with a view to learning how to make short animations about anything that caught my fancy, but never got around to doing that. When the Corona Show began to unfold, I dusted off the URL to present my sleuthing into the BBC Pandemic and the Haslemere “coincidence.”

“Pig-hoo-o-o-o-ey” is the title of a short-story by PG Wodehouse which provided inspiration for my introductory “ident”.

P.S. The bushpig’s name is Gregory.
